I was long distance with my boyfriend for over a year, and he would visit about every six months. The day he left was always really sad, like you said, so I get you. I know it's too late to do this, but what I liked to do was write a letter for him to open when he got home, almost like you could look forward to him getting home to see his reaction to it. But otherwise, it gets easier with time, and you can really treasure the time you have with him, which is kind of a blessing and a curse too. It's reminds you not to take them for granted. I know I rambled a lot and it probably didn't help much, but I just wanted to let you know someone gets how you feel and wishes the best for the both of you 💖

THATS SUCH A CUTE IDEA… i think it would really help me omg. thank you anon i really appreciate this so much. this is super comforting and reassuring ❤️

tbh i dont know where to dump this but i finally met my boyfriend of 1 year and a half. he was at my house for a week and it was so fun and i dropped him off this morning and ive been mourning allllll day. i feel extremely lonely. theres empty cups from starbucks and other places we went out to eat at. my bed smells like him and ive been breaking down all day. its going to be ao hard to get rid of those little remnants of him and im so lonely it hurts so bad…. its so hard to see myself feel better. long distance is going to feel harder :-( anyone else have this experience ? how did you get over the pain and loneliness ?
